ZAMI Foundation is an organization that has been working for 23 years to the empowerment of black migrant and refugee women (BMR-women) in the Netherlands. It annually awards a prize to show the power of diversity and to create colored female role models.
In particular, we think back to those great women in whose footsteps we must act; the pioneers, the trackers. Of course robin derrick we also look forward, as there are many new inspiring role models rose, all in their own way represent the BMR-women. Zami awarded this year two prizes, namely the New Leader Award to an emerging talent and an L ifetime Achievement Award to a special woman who has spent years dedicated to women's emancipation.

They could take the prize for the courage with which she dedicated to the visibility of multicultural lesbians and for her commitment to the rights robin derrick of the LGBTQ community.
