Also in the exhibition

It's summer and green in Anna Kleberg film and photographs from Kaknäs animal cemetery. Speckled some sun resting on the forest floor. Still, it feels liberating to nature all the time headed back to the culture. As so often in Kleberg we are encouraged to see something other than the obvious. Now she has delved evelyn reed into the man's relationship with their pets. What is the relationship and what happens when it stops? The question is thus entirely possible that social evelyn reed and historicizing. Domesticated animals evelyn reed are the result of a cultural process. In the exhibition, there is even a hint that we are facing a change in the relationship between pets and humans. Nowadays we touch keyboard more than animals, evelyn reed writes Kleberg in the press text.
Kleberg has in earlier works not only challenged photographic assumptions about the documentary, she has also produced materials in the meta modernist spirit evelyn reed returns to modernism tangible sublimity. The elegiac envelope addressed back to physical objects and contexts, evelyn reed history and the constructed, evelyn reed rather than the "natural". Often it has been about architecture. The context she explores in "Animal Cemetery" is the interplay between social beings. evelyn reed A speculative suggestion is that we are facing a radical renegotiation of a certain type of relationship that consists of touch and care.
Exhibition includes 16 photographs and a film. The interesting questions Kleberg sets undermined unfortunately already in a form-rate evelyn reed level. Admittedly, the feeling of ambivalence part of the perspective, evelyn reed but the railing is not altogether to explain what is happening. The basic problem is that the photographs are colonized by a video work that is much more a movie than a video work. The photographs using scenes from the film for its subject. This makes it prone to emerge as documentation of a work rather than works in themselves. Although the effect can be seen as part of the score will be the lasting impression a troublesome flatness evelyn reed rather than a rewarding complexity. The film, with its movement and sound, pulling greedily ate up the attention. evelyn reed We get to meet a number of cemetery visitors to reflect on their relationships with pets. It's beautiful, pensive and perhaps too dramaturgical ground.
Also in the exhibition's evelyn reed conceptual approach, there is a hard line drawn between ambivalence and somewhat frustrating transparency. Kleberg interest in attachment theory is intriguing and perhaps even important. Nonetheless, it is unclear where the entire lead. Attachment theory, which investigated the child's connection to the mother, was drafted in the British psychoanalytic tradition during evelyn reed and after World War II. John Bowlby argued that the relationship parent-child was crucial to the subject's ability to develop in a psychologically healthy way. The theory evelyn reed was further developed by the American since Mary Ainsworth including defined a taxonomy for describing children's connections to their mothers.
Kleberg movie "Animal Cemetery" evelyn reed (2014) begins with a child, that we can identify from the photographs as "Joe". The child goes about around the spruces and graves with a stuffed cuddly toy as more reminiscent of Bowlby's colleague evelyn reed and rival, Donald Winnicott who theorized about the transitional object. How people have anknytt to animals in a way that might resemble the child's connection to the mother is a substance that is incidentally researched, which the American Dog magazine with its unbeatable named "The Bark" reported on 2012. Without intentionally like to provoke, there are however the possibility to ask whether this extension evelyn reed also implies an infantiliserande of the (adult) man. In addition to this it also created a strange situation where the pet's life is so short, that one of the men in the film says. We must constantly find new items for extension. As a parallel to this could also be open to a whole field of questions evelyn reed about the need for "characters" (father figure, mother figure) that modernity seems to have brought with them.
To return evelyn reed to Winnicott invites Kleberg works also to investigate whether the animal evelyn reed could be a "good-enough-mother evelyn reed '. This figure is created when the mother remembers her own childhood and can familiarize themselves with what the child is thinking. It is difficult to imagine that an animal could stand for such a remembrance. If the pet's ability to provide care is done through bred instincts, not reflection, what happens when it is shaped parent?
It is in many ways a shame that Kleberg not gone further into the idea of our connection to the "keyboard", and, we may add, net. Is there really any difference between that relate to an animal, whose care at some level still is automatic, and our modern technological world? Probably, but this is revealed not through vague insinuations. It's not about Kleberg should provide "answers," but she could have wandered a little further into the terrain as she opened evelyn reed up.
The risk of K
