Last Friday I was at the Federal Congress of the Left Youth ['solid] in Frankfurt - unfortunately worth only half a day, but who has. In parallel with the plenary woman we organized workshops for the male participants to discuss our role in a feminist Youth League to discuss instruments such as the rate and feminist positions and issues. The aim of the workshop was that during the plenary woman even the men can make a contribution to feminist profile of the association - and give them an opportunity to get rid of questions and uncertainties on topics such as the quota of offices and mandates and to clarify.
I had great respect for the task, so to teaming a workshop - discussions on quotas can slide in quite inclined railways, and to prevent this, without instructing besserwisserisch, is not always easy. But my worries were unfounded - our group was really great, we had a good discussion about the need for quotas and the problems that go with it to tasks in the Youth League, which are more likely to be rarely done by men, to raise awareness of the perception of discrimination and positioning of the Youth Association for reproductive or Carearebeit and how the youth league feminist stereotypes should raise its profile to substantive questions of feminism on.
The rest of the Bukos can at least partial read her on twitter. Congratulations to the new BundessprecherInnenrat and Florian Häber from Berlin, my designated successor as youth spokesman for the party executive!
